Language requirements

Italian Italian Visa applicants must meet one of the following requirements: -Possess a certificate of Italian at the B2 level or above, issued by the University of Rome 3, the Università per Stranieri di Siena, the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, the Università per Stranieri di Reggio Calabria or the Società Dante Alighieri. -Pass the CISIA L2 test with a minimum score of 36/72. -Pass the Italian language test organised by the University of Trieste, to be taken online during the week from 25 to 29 August.

Overview

The Degree Course in Healthcare trains professionals qualified to practice the profession of Healthcare Assistant. This figure deals with health promotion and disease prevention both in the public sector, in Prevention Departments and Health Districts, and in the private sector such as retirement homes and private companies. The study plan delves into the sociocultural, behavioral, psychological and biological factors that contribute to the well-being of individuals, groups, families and communities and to the prevention of diseases.

Career opportunities

The Healthcare Assistant can carry out his/her activity as an employee in public structures (Health Authorities, Hospitals) or private structures (Clinics, Nursing Homes, Retirement Homes, Workplaces) and/or as a freelancer for consultancy, research, projects and interventions.
